SENIOR PARTNER | CRIMINAL LAW
ANDREW MAIN

Andrew specialises in Criminal Litigation and represents people charged with any offence from Speeding to Murder.
He was admitted to the roll in 1991 having completed his Law Society Finals at Guildford Law School and Articles of Clerkship in Oxford. Andrew joined a Kent firm where he quickly made his way up to becoming a partner before embarking on what became a 20 year business venture with Diana Evans as Evans Main in Sevenoaks
In nearly 30 years of Criminal Defence work, Andrew has been involved in some serious cases, such as the contract killing of a heavily pregnant woman, a multi-million pound international goods importation fraud, as well as numerous drug and sexual offences cases.
Andrew's greatest strength is his non-judgemental, empathetic and, perhaps most importantly, persuasive abilities being described by a local Magistrates as “a man who can push jelly uphill!!”
Andrew is married to Rose, a BBC Journalist, and enjoys Running, Cycling and Walking but his greatest passion is Rugby. With 3 adult rugby playing sons, Andrew, accepting that his playing days are behind him, recently qualified as a referee and nothing gives him more pleasure than encouraging boys and girls to take up the sport.
