ELEANOR RATCLIFFE

Eleanor Ratcliffe is a solicitor at Main Nickolls with over two decades of experience in criminal law and related areas of practice. She has built her career advising and representing clients in complex and often high-pressure situations, bringing a calm, pragmatic and client-focused approach to her work.
Prior to joining Main Nickolls, Eleanor was an Associate at DWF in London, working within the Commercial Insurance Criminal Defence team where she advised insurers and corporate clients on regulatory and criminal matters.
Earlier in her career she spent almost ten years as a Duty Solicitor at Tuckers Solicitors and over six years at Haskell & Co Solicitors, representing clients at police stations and courts across Kent. She began her career as a solicitor at Berry & Lamberts Solicitors.
Eleanor’s extensive frontline experience gives her a deep understanding of the criminal justice system and the pressures faced by individuals and organisations involved in investigations and proceedings. She is known for her practical judgement, strong advocacy and ability to guide clients through challenging circumstances with clarity and reassurance.
